Nekesa Jane, a Feds Uganda Ministries beneficiary, has donated one hectare of land to be used as a demonstration garden. This demonstration garden is being used to demonstrate ground nuts contain root nodules that are useful for fixing nitrogen bacteria in the soil.

Feds Uganda Ministries is having her plant demonstration garden with 50 kilograms of ground nuts. She also added some organic fertilizers and composite manures in the soil that are chemical free to crops. She aims at 500 kilograms of harvest by the end of November 2018.
Preparing ground nuts for planting
The purpose is to make all caregivers’ mindset
transformed from using processed oils that are harmful to their health and adopt the use of natural oils from such leguminous plants that are good for health. This will lead to good nutrition and feeding in families hence reduced malnutrition in children.
