Jane’s Success Story!
From no hope to hope; Jane is thirty five years old, a single mother of three children helped by Feds Uganda Ministries. She lived under the hard situation when her husband had passed away three years ago. She had no one to help, not until she had an opportunity to be registered under Feds Uganda Ministries.
Today Jane has learned several skills that are practical to help her and her three children to survive.
She obtained the skills on livelihood, attends female functional adult lessons, nurtured and rescued through abject poverty by engaging herself in group activities.
Through the horticulture/vegetable growing project, Jane acquired managerial skills from establishment of nursery beds to main garden and preservation of harvested products for marketability. She is now harvesting tomatoes, drum heads, collards, onions, yams, red pepper, and oranges. The good
news is she has started a small income generating activity to support her family survive and thrive. This has brought in joy and happiness to her. Her children are full of smiles as compared before when they used to suffer from nutrition deficiencies.
Jane is able to raise her daily income of $7 and saves $3 to boost up her business and pay school fees for her children.
She prays that may her business grows so that she can also help others establish small income generating business to enable them to reduce abject poverty and create hope. She prays for those helping in support of their lives from perishing in poverty and winning souls to become Christ-Like.
