Intervening to help Mr. Ojwangi
Recently, while out monitoring horticulture projects, Mulumia Patrick met a widower, Mr. Ojwangi, who offered him shelter since it was raining. While taking shelter Mulumia realized that this very poor widower, who had a terrible cough, would most likely lose his life if no intervention reached him.

Mindful of the ministry’s motto of Rescue,
Nurture and Disciple, the ministry intervened by giving Mr. Ojwangi small items (since he was not the ministry’s work plan), such as a new basin, two bars of soap, and bed sheets. In addition they gave him $10 for buying food for awhile.
