Feds Uganda Ministries has been working on sensitizing women and mothers on proper hygiene and sanitation. Many children are affected with contagious diseases that have affected their normal growth/health. Most diseases are in contact with the four “F’s” meaning feces, flies, food and fingers.

Through encouragement and instruction, the women now have pit latrines, thirty meters away from their homesteads. The holes are covered and contain soap, washing jerrican and rubbish pit. We also encouraged them to be eating warm food other than eating leftovers.

Through our frequent home visitations, we find that many homes have improved health wise and they are doing much better since hygienic items are set up.
