FEDS UGANDA SUCCESS STORY: Lydia Mutesi
FEDS UGANDA SUCCESS STORY:
Lydia Mutesi, aged 17 years old is an orphan who stays with an old grandmother aged 69 years, since the time her parents died of HIV/AIDS when she was 3 years. The survival mechanism is difficult, through Lydia offering herself by hoeing for others to earn a living to support her grandmother. This has resulted in having a single meal or without a meal depending if she is paid.
Through Feds Uganda Ministries, Lydia was visited, counseled, preached to, and prayed for God’s provisions and protection. She was registered as a member and given 15 kilograms of ground nuts. We are happy Lydia and her grandmother were able to save some ground nuts and planted them. It’s a pleasure to note that they harvested 150 kilograms which brought joy and happiness to Lydia’s family. Now Lydia has started a small income-generating business to enable them to buy food and medical care.
Therefore, Lydia appreciates the efforts of Feds Uganda Ministries for having transformed her life and the entire family. She now sees a brighter future and is very thankful for those supporting Feds Uganda. From nothing to something, Lydia is able to smile with joy and happiness on her face. God bless!
