There is a power of transformation in sponsoring a child in Uganda. As you will recall, from our previous post, Opondo Mike is fourteen years old as an orphan with his two brothers and one sister, under the care of Awino Topita who is their grand mum aged sixty years ago. His mother and father passed away leaving them orphans.

However,  a wonderful donor has stepped forward to become a sponsor for Mike and his family through the Feds Uganda Ministries Child Sponsorship Program. His sponsor has pledged to provide for Mike’s physical/health, education, spiritual and socio-economic development. Her monthly support of  $60 USD brings Mike a .good smiles and hope for the future.
