A LETTER FROM AUMA FARIDA; A MOTHER REGISTERED WITH FEDS UGANDA MINISTRIES

Dear friends,

My name is Auma Faridah. I write to send you greetings in Jesus’ name and appreciate you for the good work you are doing to support Feds Uganda Ministries. I pray that God keeps you well. Thank you for supporting me, my child and family.
I am 24 years; I live in a one-room grass thatched house made of mud together with my husband called Pascal Maloba, with our three beloved children.

We live in Lugala Parish in Siabona village. My neighbor Aguttu is my closest friend. I also live near the church.My neighborhood is very peaceful and secure; I feel comfortable being here.

I normally get the opportunity of earning some income through selling collards and doing casual labor, I receive $2 per day. I have recently begun learning skills of tablecloth knitting at the project. After I master it, this shall help me to support my family at large. My husband also digs for others whereby at times they pay him at times not basing on the available work done.

My child is Bogere Samuel in a yellow T-shirt; was born on 28th July 2012. I love him very much and he is the third born among my children. I feel happy and thank God for him. He is now six years old. Bogere plays football and imitating others. He does kitchen support and this year, he will be joining primary two. I am happy that Bogere is growing very well.

At the project, I am loved, cared for, supported and equipped with skills through the trainings. The Feds Uganda Ministry volunteers are so loving and supportive to me and my family. They have helped me to practice good family management and promote a friendly relationship between me, my husband and our children.

Thank you for your support and love. Your support of the Feds Uganda Ministries at Siabona is a big blessing to my children, family and many other mothers and their children. May the Almighty God continue to bless you, use you and provide to your needs. I request you to pray for me to be strong in salvation since I had just confessed Jesus Christ as Lord in October this year. Pray also for my husband to accept Jesus as Lord and Saviour. Pray for good health and God’s provision in our family.
